Version metadata, downloads and digests come from the product repository’s public releases. 0.3.1 is a public prerelease. Preserve an independent backup before updating and check database and bundle compatibility.

The website shows a reviewed snapshot that can lag upstream. Use the GitHub Release and matching tag for current information; roadmap entries are not shipped features.

Use the exact release page

SecretBridge Releases provides each version’s changes, platform archives and SHA-256 files. This website shows a reviewed snapshot and can lag behind a newly published release. Check the tag, platform, architecture, known limits and data format for the package you select. The product CHANGELOG provides more change context.

Install, upgrade and roll back

Version 0.3.1 is a Beta prerelease and cannot simply replace an earlier installation layout or database. New evaluations need a separate empty directory and disposable credentials. Before upgrading an existing installation, take an independent backup, verify target-version compatibility and finish terminal work you need to keep. The installer verifies the candidate package and reports the active binary path. Reload the AI client and repeat a read-only MCP capability check after upgrade.

rollback switches the installed program version; it does not roll back the database. If the schema changed, an older program needs a matching independent backup. Stop, upgrade, rollback and uninstall can interrupt active work but cannot undo actions already submitted to external systems.

Understand the evidence

CI package validation is not proof that every desktop OS or real credential store has been accepted. The support matrix separates automation from real-device evidence. Roadmap items and open issues are not delivered features. Check package integrity before installation and backup compatibility before migration.
